Policies

WEIGHT LIMIT FOR RIDERS is 220 lbs. This is for the safety and comfort of guests and horses. Contact us for potential exceptions.

RESERVATIONS: To confirm your stay, we require a non-refundable $500.00 per person deposit payable by check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY:

We require a $500 deposit to secure your spot. All deposits and payments are non refundable and non transferable. We cannot make exceptions to this. Because of this Travel Insurance is highly recommended in case you have to cancel your reservation. Normally this must be purchased 24- 48 hours after booking- please check with your provider. Many of our guests use Travel Guard (www.travelguard.com).

For the initial deposit to secure your reservation, $500 is due at time of booking. 60% is due Feb 1st and the balance no later than 30 days prior to your arrival. If you book after Feb 1st, 60% is due for the initial deposit. We accept all major credit cards and checks.

Regarding Gratuities:

We are often asked about ranch policy regarding gratuities, which are greatly appreciated. Each of our staff members operate on the premise that giving their best to each guest is a priority, including those working behind the scenes to keep the ranch running smoothly. This ensures you have the best experience possible. Should you wish to provide a gratuity, we have a tip pool that includes all staff and any tips are split evenly among them.

OUR DAILY SCHEDULE DURING PEAK SEASON:

Breakfast is served daily at 8:00 am, lunch whenever we stop, hors d’ oeuvres at 5:30 pm, and dinner at 6:00 pm.

Saturday: Check in is at 3 pm. Settle in, get acquainted and meet the crew. Orientation is at 5:30 pm on the week’s activities and to learn your expectations too.

For the remainder of your stay you will be given the next day’s schedule and plan at supper, at which time you will be given the options for the following day and asked what you’d prefer to do.

Travel Guard Travel Insurance

If there is any chance that your travel plans might be interrupted, we highly recommend travel insurance! Travel insurance offers coverage for unforeseen problems, from a cancelled flight to even a serious illness. Normally this must be purchased 24- 48 hours after booking- please check with Travel Guard for specifics.

For those bringing horses to the ranch for training or for a guest stay at the ranch.

Owners will be required to show proof of a coggins and documentation that shows the horse has been vaccinated for Influenza and Rhino within the previous 12 months. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

COVID-19

2022 Cancellation policy:

COVID-19 -We  understand the travel and transportation limits imposed by airlines and other transportation companies may affect your travel, as well as quarantine’s put into effect. In light of the circumstances, we would be able to shift the date of your reservation until a time when it is safe and authorized to travel, or refund the cost of your reservation.  Please keep us updated on your travel plans/ability as we get closer to the date. And thank you for purchasing travel insurance; we do highly recommend it for your security in unforeseeable situations such as this. Please contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

COVID-19 Ranch Policy:

We do not require guests or staff to be vaccinated.  It is your choice whether to wear a mask or not to.  We temp all incoming guests upon arrival.  Staff go to town rarely and when they do, they do so with safe practices knowing that they cannot compromise guests or one another.

If a guest or staff member shows a fever or sign of sickness we will assess the situation and decide on a course of action whether it be quarantine or distancing or a trip to the doctor.  Fevers are treated with the ultimate consideration.  The safety of our staff and guests is our ultimate goal—in 2021 we had a season with zero faults and we plan to continue that record into 2022.

All public spaces will be cleaned and sanitized multiple times throughout the day.  Hand Sani stations are placed throughout the property at every entrance to each public building.

PUBLIC SPACES

Guest cabins are deep cleaned and sanitized prior to guest arrival.  For 10-day stays, there will be no daily housekeeping services to ensure the safety of your space.  Staff will pick up trash on Wednesdays and Saturdays.  We will have a sheet available daily where you can request needed items, linens, etc.  We will accommodate any request!

LODGING

Private guest cabins offer a unique and elegant way to socially distance. Guest cabins are deep cleaned and sanitized prior to your arrival.

For 10-day stays, there will be no daily housekeeping services to ensure your space stays private. Staff will pick up trash on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We will have a sheet available daily where you can request needed items, linens, etc. We will accommodate any request!

For month long stays, we will speak with you about your individual housekeeping needs and are happy to assist in changeovers as wanted/needed.

DINING

Breakfast will be a grab-and-go style continental.

Lunch will be pre-made brown bagged put together by our cook and based on your personal selection of items.

Dinner will remain a buffet style service with a sanitizer station to be used before plating your meal.  Please speak with our cook if you would like your meal boxed up so it back be taken to your cabin or eaten outdoors.

HORSEMANSHIP

Each guest uses the same saddle and headstall for the duration of your stay.
