Riding options throughout the year…

Mid October to end of May: These are exclusive horsemanship weeks! During our winter season, horsemanship weeks take place in our heated indoor arena. Once the snow has melted, horsemanship is done outside and in late April into May, cattle become a part of the horsemanship program too!

These are intensive weeks for learning. Those with a passion for horses and for the Buck Brannaman way of riding will come away with a knowledge and a feel they didn’t know possible!

It’s a ton of fun too! Think walk, trot, canter, cattle moves–maybe even cavalry exercises, a game of soccer or a round of tarp tag too!

June through early October: These peak season weeks are all about variety and FUN! You can head out with us to explore the remote country surrounding the ranch. You can hunt for cattle and drive cattle on our 40-square mile grazing allotment, or stay back home and work on cutting and sorting. Or you can work on our cutting machine too! Horsemanship is available daily. We also offer kayak trips to the pristine waters of Horseshoe Lake on our warmer days!
