2020 Peak Season (Includes Buck Brannaman Clinics & VIP Weeks)

Along with Buck Brannaman clinic style horsemanship, cattle working and exploring country join us in our season long cattle work and cattle drives! Enjoy riding in and exploring country in 40 square miles of timbered country and meadow land. Those who are looking to cover lots of country will not be disappointed! Move and drive cattle in the timbered mountains surrounding the ranch and learn how to track and find cattle.

McGinnis Meadows Ranch is very conscientious about proper land management and you’ll take a big part in it. There’s a part for all levels of riders to participate in. Ride the drag to push cattle, ride the flanks to keep those boys in line.

The meal plan for Peak Season includes our Deluxe Continental Breakfast Bar, Sandwich fixins, chips, snacks and drinks to make your sack lunch, Family style sit down dinner with salad bar, beer and wine served at 6:00PM, and daily housekeeping service.

We reserve the right to switch cabins based on accommodation needs.

Peak Season Weeks

June 7-13^th– VIP GUEST WEEK. What makes these weeks special? For starters, you’ll receive a 10% discount on the total price of your reservation! These weeks are exclusively for our loyal repeat guests who have been at MMR before. We want you to know that we appreciate you sticking with us over the years and we appreciate the friendships we’ve made with you.

This week will be tailor-made to suit your interests. Whether it be graze, an all day ride with a scenic deluxe mountain lunch, bonfires, jingling in horses, lake trips, horsemanship in the meadows, roping-we’ll make this your best week ever, and make it as hands on as possible. Why, last year we even gave a tour of the mountain trails in “Blue” our trusty ranch truck, while guests got to ride along with Dave to check mineral and cattle! If you are the active outdoor type, hiking the mountains here is spectacular too. Like to cook? You can even spend some time with Miriam learning the secrets of how to make her scrumptious meals!

Expect to be greeted with a glass of champagne upon arrival, luxury meals, massage, yoga and stretching classes and be ready to smile because we will be taking lots of pics and video clips. At the end of the week grab a mimosa (or two) and enjoy a complimentary flash drive with all the week’s photos and videos. There may even be some surprises like an evening of great music by one of our local bands. Be prepared for additional surprises/goodies throughout the week!

Buck Brannaman Clinic Weeks

Buck will be returning to the ranch to teach his horsemanship & Cattle working clinics. Space is limited!

Each week for 3 full days, Buck will cover Horsemanship 1 in the mornings, and Cattle Working in the afternoons. Two full days are with us either working on horsemanship, trail rides, cattle working, or moving cattle on summer range.

Ride one of our horses or bring your own-we’ll provide space for you horse at no extra cost if you bring your own hay, or for a small additional cost if we provide hay.

Full week only Sunday through Saturday
Ranch lodging only- Shared cabins
