Here at MMR we have been monitoring the COVID-19 virus very closely and how it might impact our guests. We want you to know that your well-being and safety is our top priority.
We are fortunate that at this time in Montana we have a low rate and Lincoln County specifically, has zero cases of the virus. That said, we will do our part to sustain this and keep the impact as minimal as possible.
What precautions are we taking?
- At this time we are planning to reopen in early July for our scheduled guest weeks.
- The ranch is currently closed as we support social distancing, prepare our staff, continue our thorough cleaning and disinfecting of cabins, lodge rooms, vehicles and literally, all of our facilities. Our staff, who lives on the ranch, are staying put here to help facilitate this. We are on voluntary quarantine to ensure that nothing detrimental is brought back to the ranch and that everyone stays healthy. We are confident that these procedures will help to set us up for another amazing season for our guests.
- We are practicing the protocols set out by the leading authorities – including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control – to maximize the effectiveness of our response.
Due to the extenuating circumstances of the current COVID-19 situation, McGinnis Meadows Ranch is temporarily modifying our cancellation policy for reservations during the 2020 season. The health and well-being of our guests will always remain our top priority.
Any 2020 season reservation cancelled within 30 days of the day of arrival will be given a full refund of your deposit or we will be happy to move your reservation to a later date of your choice based on availability.
*Reservations cancelled outside the 30 days will be subject to our standard cancellation policy.
We are all in this together and know that travel may not be feasible or advisable for some families. Let’s see where this season goes, practice social distancing and remember that we are all striving to do our best as we look forward to spending some time with you in Montana—we’ll help you create wonderful memories riding in these beautiful mountains, working on horsemanship, driving cattle and making Montana memories.
