It's BRANDING time! These weeks are for those who love to ride and rope all day long! We use long ropes - 60' and throw BIG LOOPS. If you ride and rope the Vaquero Style and Buck Brannaman/Ray Hunt Style this is the week for you. We'll be roping yearling cattle in a safe instructional environment. Bring your rope horse or ride one of ours.

Come to our Horsemanship Weeks. This is a great time to bring your colt or horse and learn from the ground up. Time will be taken to improve on your riding skills and work on any issues you are having with your horse. There will be a variety of experiences from arena riding to cattle working outside, to riding the great outdoors with confidence.
Of course our horses are here for you if you can't bring your own.

June 3 through October 13, 2012
Along with Buck Brannaman style horsemanship, cattle working and exploring country, join in our season long CATTLE DRIVES! Riding is a real hoot moving momma cows and their calves to new pastures. McGinnis Meadows Ranch is very conscientious about proper land management and you'll take a big part in it. There's a part for all levels of riders to participate in. Ride the drag to push cattle, ride the flanks to keep those ol' girls in line. You'll be quite the hand!
