Ranch Roping and Branding Weeks

April 30 to May 27

April 30 - May 6

This week is especially catered to those who want to bring their own horse and get it ready for the summer!  We’ll be working cattle, riding out and breakaway roping.  Expose your horse to as much or as little as you prefer and we’ll work with you every step of the way to make both of you a success!  Can’t bring your own horse?  Ride one of ours and take all of your knowledge home with you!

May 7 - 13

This week is especially for those who love to work cattle and rope all day long! We will be roping and branding during this week. We use long ropes - 60' and throw BIG LOOPS. If you ride and rope the Buck Brannaman style, or want to learn, this is the week for you. We'll be roping yearling cattle in a safe instructional environment. There will also be lots of work weighing branded cattle and moving them to new pastures, so you don’t have to be ropey to join in! Bring your rope horse or ride one of ours.

May 14 - 27

Intensive Buck Brannaman style horsemanship from the ground up using our horses or you can bring your own—all levels of riders are welcome. Clinic style instruction daily. We will also be putting all of our horsemanship to use in working cattle each week. There may be some more branding to finish up at this time as well. In addition, we will begin turning out our herd on our new grazing allotment surrounding the ranch.
